There are three distinct Mailprotector Partner types designed to align our mutual
business strategies:
Master Distributors (MDs)
MDs serve as complete marketing, sales, localization and support representatives
at a national or vertical segment level. They resell Mailprotector service both
directly and through their own channel of resellers. MDs have the greatest amount
of sales and support responsibilities of all the channel partner types and thus
enjoy a significant portion of revenue generated as income.
To maintain their status as Master Distributors, MDs must develop and execute a
comprehensive Market Plan, meeting significant milestones on a quarterly basis.
MD’s are fully responsible for introducing and maintaining Mailprotector in
new national markets and/or industry segments. They are eligible to participate
in any cooperative marketing support programs offered by Mailprotector. MDs have
direct access to the Mailprotector Partner Channel Manager.
Value-Added
Resellers (VARs)
VARs are the cornerstone upon which Mailprotector Partners is established. The VAR
program compensates VARs for reselling Mailprotector to their user base. These key
partners benefit by protecting their clients with a proven, hassle-free email security
solution while at the same time enjoying a lucrative recurring revenue stream.
We don’t prescribe market prices for our VAR partners to use with their clients,
but those that currently resell Mailprotector at the retail prices we post online
enjoy ~40% - 75% of the total revenue generated each and every month.
VARs often integrate Mailprotector into their complementary technology, product
or service offerings in order to optimize their reselling efforts. They maintain
complete ownership of the relationship with their customers and provide them with
Tier-1 and Tier-2 technical support. To assist in that regard, VARs are provided
direct access to Mailprotector’s Partner Channel Support Team. VARs purchase
directly from Mailprotector or from Master Distributors serving their region of
operation.
Affiliates
The Affiliate program provides recurring compensation or accelerated commissions
to partners who promote Mailprotector and refer customers to Mailprotector. Typically,
Affiliates do not provide any additional services, only referrals that lead to new
direct customers which Mailprotector supports and invoices.
This group of partners can also include companies who choose to advertise/promote
Mailprotector in campaigns or on their websites, online catalogues, etc.
Affiliates Partners can earn up to 20% of the revenue generated by the customers
they refer.
